The consensus mechanism used by Zipper blockchain is Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS). Zipper provides a solution for handling a large number of cryptocurrencies by enabling cross chain message communication and transaction switching. The Zipper network acts also as a bridge between distributed ledgers of blockchains and ledger of financial institutions. It connects cryptocurrencies to banks for automated transactions. Zipper mainnet contains multiple Z0 blockchains, zipper ecology participants and zipper wallet nodes. Zipper can complete the cross-chain transaction between different Z0 blockchains. The possible use cases for Zipper are lower cost international clearance and settlements, fast transaction processing and value from liquidity management.
