Agoras (AGRS) is a token that will be used on the Tau blockchain. The official token is Agoras IDNI (Intelligent Decentralized Networks Initiatives) over OMNI layer (asset id 58). This token seeks to enhance the production, distribution and pricing of knowledge over the Tau blockchain. Tau chain is a decentralized blockchain that aims at enhancing human communication and generation of knowledge. Using code synthesis, this chain is able to execute and generate code enabling large scale collaborative interactions. The Tau project team is currently working on developing a new internet language called Tau Meta Language. This language will be expected to translate between other existing programming languages.

Agoras token which is built upon the Tau blockchain will act as the fuel driving the Tau network. It will represent all computational resources and knowledge. It also features advanced electronic derivatives. Users will be able to earn risk-free interest without the network printing any new money hence cushioning them from inflation. The main aim though is to help scale up human large-scale communication.

The team behind this project includes skilled scientists and programmers. Among these individuals is Ohad Asor, who is the founder and developer of Tau and Agoras. He is a scientist and a mathematician. There is Isar Flis, founder of Israeli Bitcoin Community and working in strategy and operations and Georgi Karov who is the team's legal representative among others.
