So I'm running Storj for the first time in years (toyed with it way back). My setup's a bit complicated but for the most part consists of around 6+ TB of storage I've allocated over a supposedly open port and have run the node for about around 28 hours now. However, as you can see, it doesn't seem to be having a lot of allocs. NetTime is also sorta flaky even though I input the US time servers and lowered the system time change to around 500ms.
Once I figured out you can use storjstat to monitor details about your node, I went ahead and input my node to find out the response is over 9900ms. I'm no expert but that's not normal right? Is there anything else I can do to help boost my allocs besides leaving it for a few days?
Over 2 billion consumers of cloud storage are expected in the market by 2020, by the crypto will have continued to enter in the mainstream and be able to challenge the giants over there. Even if crypto can get a sliver of the total cloud storage market many projects like Storj will see huge gains.
