Xenon ( a fork of EOS) claim in their whitepaper that EOS doesn't need the money they obtain from the crowdsale to develop EOS blockchain.
I've noticed that I received Xenon (XNN) in myetherwallet. Reading through the whitepaper of Xenon I've noticed that they claim the next about EOS crowdfunding: "The goals of the token distribution as stated by block.one CTO Daniel Larimer are : 3 ● Widespread distribution ● Community engagement ● A fair, equal opportunity for many different people to get involved An obvious additional goal is revenue for the owners of the block.one company. Daniel Larimer states that the company already had adequate funding in order to complete development of the EOS project prior to the crowdsale, and that crowdsale proceeds would go to the block.one organization as revenue with no plan or obligation to use this revenue to further the EOS project ."
So all the money that EOS collected from the crowdsale has no real explained purpose. This concerns me, what will happen with the money? Why not an airdrop of EOS in stead of raising money that has no purpose?
Still Xenon has a 4 page white paper that isn't a solution, more an written argument against EOS way of distributing the tokens. But the idea that they are collecting money with no reason isn't the ideology that I have with blockchain and cryptocurrency.
I like to see crypto as an answer for all the flaws in our current banking system and government communication systems with all the data from the residents of their countries.
I see Crypto as the answer for a better more fair world with no fraud, embezzled money and less criminality.
What are your thoughts about EOS and the crowdfunding, is it true that Eos stated above text? I can't find an answer myself that quickly.
