ConstitutionDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization created in 2021 to pool funds via Ethereum to bid on a rare copy of the U.S. Constitution at auction. Although the bid failed, the community kept the project alive. PEOPLE is its governance token, representing membership and voting power within the DAO.
