AdEx token (ADX) is an ERC-20 compliant token developed on Ethereum's blockchain to be used for buying and selling the advertisements and time. AdEx is a blockchain based decentralized network which provides 100% traffic monetization, clear and transparent reporting, multi-device ad serving and fraud prevention. On the AdEx platform, advertisers will be able to create ads and then place bids for them. The bids will be in AdEx tokens. When a publisher accepts the bids, AdEx tokens are locked unless the publisher completes the goal. When the requirement (number of clicks, impressions or conversions) are met, AdEx tokens are transferred to the publisher. AdEx tokens are also used to incentivize the holders who bring more advertiser to the platform.
AdEx was founded by Ivo Georgiev and Dimo Stoyanov. Georgiev has an extensive experience of software engineering and he headed Stremio platform, an on-demand video entertainment startup. Stoyanov is expert in Ux and UI design. The team consists of 6 other members. There are 10 advisors at AdEx including Jihan Wu, the founder of Bitmain technologies.
