Since October 2022 i went BTC only. Literally out of everyone's control but mine. No rug pulls, no security scares, no devs leaving, no hacks, not scared of someone declare it as security, not depend on some central entity or firm. Thats the biggest reason why i will never again convert to alts even though in bullrun most if them outperform BTC.

In a sea of videos with obnoxious thumbnails - pikachu! shocked face, dramatically holding up stupid CGI'd-in coin, BITCOIN TO $127,000 BY FRIDAY THE REASON WILL SHOCK YOU, unrelated floating heads of Larry Fink or Michael Saylor - his videos are evergreen. From the oldest to the newest, they are eminently watchable. He never tries to PRESSURE viewers into watching NOW NOW NOW, which, intentionally or not, translates psychologically into FOMO and paperhands.

I just saw a post showing the dollar value of all of the worlds realestate, debt, equities and gold vs the dollar value of all bitcoin.

This is looking at bitcoin as an asset denominated in dollars, instead we should be looking at bitcoin as the money everything else is denominated in.

The thing people miss is bitcoin is actually going to be the money that measures all of the worlds assets.

Imagine seeing a chart saying:

Realestate = 8m btc

Debt = 7m btc

Equities = 2.3m btc

Gold = 300k btc

Stop measuring the worlds assets denominated in dollars and start measuring the worlds assets denominated in bitcoin. Remove fiat from the equation entirely, then you will see the truth.

If you do the math this means a median priced family home in America will cost 0.0125 bitcoin (or 1.25m sats) and the average wage in America will be 0.00125 bitcoin per year (or 125k sats per year).

What is the best way to own Bitcoin puts?

I have a bit of a Wolf of Wall street fear that if I own Bitcoin puts at something fairly crazy like $10,000 strikes - the exchange I own them on will be insolvent or deemed a criminal enterprise if it actually pays off.

Also - can I buy them with $s or do you actually have to own some bitcoin to trade the options?

I've just pulled out this month's DCA from Kraken to my Trezor and noticed that instead of the 0.0002 fee advertised by Kraken, my Trezor is showing a fee of 0.001

Am I missing something? Looking back on previous transactions I can see that I've sometimes been charged 0.0002 and other times 0.001

My Kraken app is still showing the completed transaction fee at 0.0002
