As I learn more about blockchain technology and the uses it could have in the music industry I stumbled upon these music streaming sites that claim to help artists get paid for their plays directly through blockchain. I'm still learning about the inner workings of the projects and their coins but my main thing is that I see they're all built on Etheruem. Does anyone know if there is an app being worked on that is similar but being built on Algorand? I could see this being huge if it's ever adopted by the independent artist scene but ETH is still slow and expensive compared to Algorand's transaction speed. I know Opulous has launched but I think they're more focused on DeFi and copyright rather than building a streaming platform but correct me if I'm wrong. Would love some insight on this!
