Blocktix is a blockchain platform offering a solution for event ticket distribution, ticket transfer and event promotion.
Event hosters can use the platform to both issue tickets and promote their events, as the community earn credits by vetting and attending the events. It claims to be able to reduce event hosting and advertising costs by up to 90% from other ticketing systems.
The TIX tokens are used to compensate the community for validating events, advertising and attending to them. TheShow more [+] latform requires TIX to access the system, to include new events in the feed and to pay for advertisement. Tickets can be bought with TIX and ETH.
The TIX Token is ERC-20 and the platform runs its smart contracts on the Ethereum.
