Pillar is multichain cryptocurrency wallet. It is an open source project started in July 2017 by a team from United Kingdom. Pillar now is an incorporated company with head office in London. Pillar also have its own Ethereum based token, which ICO gathered $21M.
The main purpose of Pillar wallet was to substitute accounts and passwords with one decentralized authentication application. Client is able to verify identity and choose which of his personal information will be shared.
Pillar is also a mobile wallet that works with many different blockchains and various coins. Unlike most of other crypto wallets, Pillar is browser independent and has an option of choosing multiple exchanges. Main wallet is free and open source, but some of the additional functionality can be purchased with Pillar tokens.
