SelfKey is a digital identity blockchain network. It allows individuals and companies to control a digital identity used to manage their cryptocurrency portfolios or other financial and certification services.
Their main features are the "identity wallet", that allows notarization of documents and identity assets and the marketplace with a wide range of finances, cryptocurrency and identity related services, such as immigration or KYC/AML/CTF certification. It also features KYC-CHAIN, a KYCShow more [+] manager application targeting banks and corporations.
KEY is an ERC-20 token with a "Proof of Reputational Stake" consensus system. Identity owners need to keep an amount of KEY tokens locked to access the network. Users can apply to be certifiers or "bonded notaries", locking an amount of tokens in a smart contract. If the certified makes an incorrect attestation, they lose the locked amount in favour of the relying party.
