Size. Market cap, not price, is what ranks these two against each other. Bitcoin carries the larger market cap of the pair — 5.1 times Ethereum's. A lower price per coin says nothing about which is the bigger asset, only that the supply is divided differently.
Supply. Compare circulating supply against max supply for each. The coin with most of its supply already issued faces less future sell pressure from unlocks and emissions than one still releasing.
Liquidity. 24-hour volume measured against market cap shows how actively each trades. Thin volume means wider spreads and sharper moves in both directions, whatever the market cap says.
