Its Proof-of-Stake consensus allows "cold staking", that is, users can lock tokens from an offline node, such as hardware wallet, on behalf of an online dedicated node with no coins. It also makes Partcl staking "quantum resistant", as the "real" staking node is not broadcasted to the network.
