Patron is project of a social media sharing marketplace, based on Ethereum blockchain. This is a project started December 2017 by a team from Japan. The main purpose of Patron is to create a highly reliable marketplace, where influencer social media (SNS) receive tokens for native advertising of a brand. And brands could be connected with local influencers (bloggers, Instagram-bloggers, YouTube video-bloggers and Facebook active members) around the world. ICO of Patron ERC-20 token PAT has finished May 2018 raising total of $40M. 1/3 of the tokens were distributed via private sale, 1/3 by a pre-ICO and 1/3 by a public ICO.
