Graft (GRFT) is the native coin used on GRAFT blockchain for real-time payment authorizations, settlements between merchants and buyers and global transfer of funds. The transactions are confirmed in less than 3 seconds. This is achieved by using a consensus of always-on supernodes. The transaction fee is paid by merchants, not by the end users. GRAFT blockchain also offers private one-time transactions by using CryptoNote and Monero cryptographic mechanisms. In order to integrate with the conventional setups, GRAFT blockchain offers several kinds of transactions such as Authorize (when the exact final amount is not known such as paying at the gas station), PreAuth (long-term authorize-such as monthly service subscription), Complete (finalized the payment initiated by Authorize and PreAuth), Sale (Completed single transaction), Transfer (used to transfer money between GRAFT accounts), Cancel, Issue, Redeem, Exchange, Escrow and Refund. GRAFT blockchain uses proof of stake consensus algorithm for Authorization and interchange functions while "proof of work" protocol for settlement functions generated by the new blocks. GRAFT blockchain is a node based network consisting of proxy supernode (an entry-level node as a trusted relay, as a "store server" for large merchants) and Full supernodes ( is an authorizer and service provider). There are 4 tier full supernodes with varying amount of stake and rewards. The amount required to be a full supernode is 50,000 GRFT tokens for tier-1, 90,000 GRFT for tier-2, 150,000 GRFT for tier-3 and 250,000 GRFT for tier-4. The full supernodes get 0.0625% of the total Real-Time Approval of the transaction amount.

GRAFT team is lead by Slava Gomzin who has 15 years of experience in payment industries. He served as principal at NEC and is an author of Hacking Point of Sale. Dan Itkis is also in the management team. He developed leading-edge products from Cisco, Intel and other major companies.
