Scroll (SCRL) is developed as an ERC-20 compliant token on Ethereum blockchain while it also exists as a native coin on Scroll Mainnet. This multi-chained existence of Scroll (SCRL) coin will remain operational until the announcement of the complete token swap on the Scroll mainnet.
The objective of the Scroll (SCRL) blockchain is to provide a platform for data storage and management for an individual as well as the enterprise clients. Scroll solves the problems of centralized storage andShow more [+] ta management services suffering from issues such as data breaches, slow speeds, costly data storage packages, downtime, and several others. Scroll offers automated scaling of the network by connecting variable nodes in the blockchain which maintains the speeds for efficient data transfer. Scroll also provides enterprise data integrity by incorporating the blockchain technology. Scroll offers other solutions such as Aster (Supply chain services) and Osier (sidechain secure communication protocol). Scroll also offers a SlideDrive application which can be used to store, share and retrieve the data using the Scroll blockchain.
Scroll uses a Peer to Verified Peer (P2VP) permissioned consensus protocol. A node type represents an account type within the Business entity's scroll network. The verified nodes have certain privileges in the Scroll network. This peer to verified peer consensus model is enterprise grade. This allows the businesses to track, monitor and customize access for the data on the Scroll network. Scroll incorporates a hypernode protocol for fast transactions even under the heavy network load. The average block time of 5 to 8 seconds. Transaction speed is 3000 TPS. Scroll is still in its development stages. Only SlideDrive beta version is available at the moment as a practical solution of data storage using Scroll blockchain.
Scroll was co-founded by Nate Pitruzzello, Mia Sumra, Samuel Opper, Joseph Nicklas, and Khashab Khashab. The team consists of 18 other members. There are three advisors to this project.
