I've just started researching Streamr and appreciate the vision and quality of the team, but my thinking keeps running aground on the issue of near/medium-term viability.
Streamr seems to depend on an ecosystem of third-party infrastructure that is still in its early days. And I'm wondering if Streamr is TOO ahead of its time.
I was just reading this post, and while I agree that this will become the future ... Is something like selling data from your smart car to smart cities, for example, an actual possibility, at meaningful economic scale, in the near- or medium-term?
I hope it's clear I'm not trying to FUD, just to understand the project better. Thanks in advance for thoughts, and ... I hope to be proven wrong :)
