APEX (CPX) is built as a token on the NEO blockchain to empower the APEX network. The aim of the Apex Network is to create a platform for direct interaction between the businesses and customers. This direct interaction enables the enterprises to improve and optime their products, marketing strategies, and sales. The Apex network solves the poor B2C interaction caused by factors such as centralized data ownership, data security, privacy, legal compliance, ineffective middle interaction layer. The ineffective middle interaction layer is eliminated and dApps on the top of blockchain are used for providing the direct interaction between businesses and consumers. Apex use cases also include B2B data exchange, gamification, reward exchange, unified customer experience and exchanging consumer insights.

Instead of using NEO blockchain, APEX network is presently developing their own blockchain considering the scope of this project. The CPX token will be transferred as 1:1 when the main net launches (Expected Q2 2019). The main chain of the APEX network will independently enable the development of sidechains. The hybrid consensus protocol will be used, Deligated Proof of Stake on the main chain while Proof of Stake protocol on the sidechains. Three types of nodes will be used to power the network i.e. Supernodes (process and validate the transactions), voternodes (participates in voting), data cloud nodes (distributed off-chain network for data storage)

APEX network was developed by Jimmy hu, present CEO, awarded with AI person of the year in China Internet Weekly. He is a predictive AI advisor for Microsoft. APEX was co-founded by Tiger Yang, who built multiple big data analytics systems for Hilton, Microsoft, and other enterprise customers. The team consists of 2 other members. The advisory board consists of 15 members.
