Lamden is a set of developer tools on top of Bitcoin-based or Ethereum blockchains. It is an open source project written on Python by a team from San Francisco, USA in January 2018.
The main purpose of Lamden was to make blockchain development friendly for programmers. Lamden's mainnet also increases transaction speed, allowing 10,000 transactions per second due to usage of DPoS and BFT. Lamden suite includes 3 separate applications. Clove is a decentralized application for atomic swaps between different chains (for example, changing Bitcoin to Ether or any ERC-20 token). Lamden token TAU acts as an intermediary for cross-chain swaps and transactions.
