Individual users always have complete control over their PII. An individual user will affirm his or her permission for auditors to execute the IDV request received by the Service Provider by using biometric data, such as fingerprints or face, via THEKEY App or device placed at the service provider. Unless and until the specific user confirms, no process will be continued.
Before executing IDV requests, necessary conditions on PII data in the IDV request will be compared to the KYC standard policy of different industries. Aside from single-user validation, validators will also examine the IDV request’s eligibility. For instance, an IDV request sent out by a hotel that contains information on a specific user’s medical history may be refused since it is not consistent with hotel KYC industry requirements. A similar request from a medical insurance company, on the other hand, can be evaluated and accepted.
Individual users are not required to upload PII. Following approval of the first two things listed above, validators will collect the needed data.
